Child protection specialization
Child protection specialization requirements
If you’re interested in child welfare practice we recommend you take the courses in the child protection specialization stream to maximize your hiring prospects.
All agencies that provide services to children, youth and families may need to take responsibility for child protection and child welfare.
Students must apply to take the child protection specialization practicum.
Students who have completed the child protection specialization course[s] and a practicum with the Ministry of Children and Family Development will be among the best prepared for employment in government or non-government agencies.
